Help A Dog BBQ benefits the Animal Protective Foundation located in Scotia, NY.
Their vision is a community where all companion animals are loved, respected and receive exceptional care both at the APF shelter and in their new forever homes.
Capital District Jeep Wrangler is a local Jeep club whose members share a love of pets and off-roading alike, with many members having Jeep Dog passengers on our adventures!
CDJW is committed to our communities and the Help A Dog BBQ For The APF is just one of the many yearly events our members come together, plan, pool resources and help raise awareness and funds for the local non-profits in the local communities we live in and love!
Hot Diggity-Dog BBQ!
Our simple, but yummy Hot Dog BBQ is only $6 per person and includes a grilled, premium hot dog, chips and drink. Litelife Jumbo Vegan Hot Dogs are also available for our Vegan and Vegetarian friends. CDJW donates all the food and our good friends from Livin' The Dream Food Cart donate their resources and BBQ skills so 100% of all the proceeds from the BBQ go directly to the APF!
Vendors, Raffles, Activities OH MY!
Bring your entire family and your pets and visit Vendor Alley featuring pet and non-pet items and services alike! Meet with local trainers, veterinarians, groomers, pet sitters, photographers, as well as super popular home-based business reps from LuLaRoe, 31, Arbonne, Usborne Books, Young Living, Paparazzi, and many more! Plus, we will have fantastic raffles from all the Vendor Alley booths and more! Tickets are only $1 each of 6 tickets for $5. 100% of all proceeds from our raffle tables go directly to the APF!
Adoptable Dogs From The APF!
The APF will be breaking their dogs out of their kennels the day of the event and bringing them out into the sunshine to meet you, your family and your pets!
APF Doggie Wish List
Can't Adopt The Day Of The Event? No Problem! You Can Still Help!
The APF will be collecting WISH LIST items for the pets in their care including canned dog and cat food (no dry food please), peanut butter, leashes/collars, frisbees, potty pads, paper towels and more.
